shut me off if you know of a switch
closed inside a coliseum, but there is no fight
there is no lion, there is no spear
only my mind, my eyes, and the here and now
what happens in the morning will happen as the earth tries to dry
it's raining and all the lights are blurry
it's almost as if I can't see the details when I look outside
and I won't see tomorrow, I won't even try
so close me up inside a suitcase
leave me at the airport and let me think
let a few hours drone by
let me live inside the here and now.. for now
